Customs Academy is represented in the training held in Italy

                                  

The Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) was represented in the training program held at L'Aquila University in Italy within the framework of the Erasmus+ project called "Development of Research Potential through the Network of Institutional Repositories in Azerbaijan " (DIRNA) ,the partner of the Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA). Mr. Elvin Mejidov, the ASCCA Manager of International Cooperation and Projects and Project manager of ASCCA participated in the training attended by representatives of 7 higher educational institutions of our country, Jiveskülof Finland and Izmir Institute of High Technology of Turkiye. 

The aim of the training was to study the advanced Institutional Research Information System of the University of L'Aquila, one of the leading higher education institutions in Europe for the accessibility of science and scientific research products as a whole, the integrated electronic system of the library and the integrated network with other Italian universities, Open Data, Open Science and Open Access concepts , mechanisms, opportunities and models, the international cooperation mechanisms and practices of Italian universities in this field, especially the University of L'Aquila.

The training was attended by the head of the DIRNA project at Khazar University, Dr. Tatyana Zaytseva, vice-rector for international relations of L'Aquila University, Prof. Anna Tozzi, vice-rector for research Prof. Benedetta Mattei, the university's library management and staff, researchers and scientists, as well as an employee of the Project Management Sector in the field of Research and Technology Transfers,  Dr. Massimiliano. A consortium meeting of the project was held as part of the visit program, and a wide consortium discussion was organized on project management, quality control and next project activities were planned. In the end, the training participants were awarded with certificates from L'Aquila University.

The beneficiary institutions of the Erasmus+ international consortium project funded by the European Union covering the years 2023-2026 in Azerbaijan are Khazar University (coordinator), Customs Academy, Baku State University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Ganja State University, Mingachevir State University, Lankaran State University and Nakhchivan State University apart from the three universities in Finland, Italy and Turkiye,.
